Protecting our client’s £7 million
This leading speciality chemicals company maintains 59 production sites in 33 countries and operates a fleet of 700 ISO tanks representing a balance sheet asset of £7m, to distribute product around the world.
Dealing with unpredictable demand patterns, and limited visibility of future customer orders, visibility of the ISO tanks, to fulfil orders represents a key challenge and is a critical success factor.
Despite investing heavily in GPS devices for their ISO fleet, the legacy supply chain partner operated manual processes for location logging and were entirely reliant on spreadsheet reporting.
